2010
A new version of Think GIS® is introduced along with a new Web version of Think GIS®. With a Web version of Think GIS®, the Company establishes a fully integrated GIS product line for the desktop, mobile laptop, and Web. The number of strategic partners expands as WTH’s products and services are incorporated into a number of third party integrated software solutions. The Company begins to provide advanced TAC AVL™ services for leading edge public safety Clients and develops a TAC AVL™ version of its GIS software that is able to integrate law enforcement records, historic crime data, dispatch information, and data from real time sensors including cameras and sound detectors into a common operational picture integrated with automatic crime analysis and dispatch.

2009
WTH develops an Open API for Think GIS® to make it easier for third party software vendors to develop interfaces between their products and Think GIS®. The company introduces a hosted version of its Think AVL® software. WTH increases its hosting of Client WebGIS sites including 40 County WFS sites. The Company is awarded a significant urban contract from Camden, New Jersey for citywide deployment of Think GIS®, Think AVL® and Think Dispatch®.

2008
The Company’s Think AVL® and Think Dispatch® products are trademarked. The Company uses UDX® to provide GIS data sharing for the first of a number Multi-County public safety districts. WTH’s support department adds service order tracking software to better track past Client support services and more quickly resolve current service issues. The Company develops an import utility to be used with Think GIS® for crime mapping.

2007
The State of Indiana Wireless Board contracts with INdigital Telecom to develop a first in the nation statewide IP based emergency services network and WTH serves as a subcontractor to develop new ANI/ALI forwarder software and assist in dispatch center software integration. WTH’s Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) product, named “Think AVL” is released along with a silent dispatch product named “Think Dispatch.” These products bring new levels of communication between dispatch and mobile vehicles. The Indiana Department of Homeland Security initiates a program of Local-State data sharing using County WFS sites. WTH begins testing a model WFS site that receives updated GIS data from the Company’s UDX® network.

2006
WTH is awarded a first in the nation contract from the State of Indiana to convert all of the State’s regulated electric utility boundaries into a seamless statewide GIS map. With the success of this project WTH begins to add municipal and private utilities to its local government Client base. The Company develops its first WebGIS product using the open source software MapServer. WTH also develops its first version of Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) software. The Company’s Think GIS® and UDX® products are trademarked and Think GIS® is now provided for the first time in an Editor and User version.

2005
WTH’s Think Map product is renamed Think GIS®. It is established that new software projects shall use Microsoft’s ASP .NET architecture to provide easier integration of WTH’s software products with those of other third party software vendors. New interfaces are developed for third party school records management software products. The Company is awarded its first major urban software contract for Bergen County, New Jersey with 900,000 people. WTH’s Think GIS® and UDX® data exchange software are used to distribute an updatable common County GIS map to each of the 72 Municipal Police Departments within the County.

2004
WTH’s data sharing software which had been used up to this point as an internal software support tool is developed into a mature software product named “UDX” with the capability of automatically updating and distributing GIS data, converting GIS data to a different map projection, and the import and export of GIS data in a Shapefile format.

2003
WTH integrates its GIS software for the first time with third party Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Record Management System (RMS) software. Interfaces are also developed for a number of Tax Records and Tax Assessment software. The Company’s sales activities expand out of the Midwest to include marketing to states in the South and Northeast.

2002
The Company establishes a policy of free updates to its Think Map software for Clients that have a maintenance and support program. This eliminates many of the issues involving legacy software, and provides all WTH Clients with the latest version of the Company’s GIS product. The company develops subject matter experts for land information, public safety and infrastructure Clients to address their specific needs. WTH establishes a research and development department with a focus on new software development.

2001
Sales of GIS products to out of network County departments, the observed need for Multi-County data sharing and the Company’s desire for more effective remote support leads to the development of the Company’s first GIS data sharing software that allows for the automatic GIS data updating, distribution, and remote service support. The Company establishes a customer service department for training and support services.

2000
The Company hires staff from ASI, Inc. which at the time was the largest GIS data conversion company in the United States and establishes a GIS data conversion department. New tools are added to the Think Map software including tools for parcel splitting, agricultural assessment, and new address creation.

The Company expands its sales of GIS products to 911 dispatch centers that were for the first time incorporating orthocorrected photography. With photography available, point addressing is possible and WTH becomes an early advocate and leader for the creation and use of point addressing for public safety response.

1999
WTH Technology, Inc. is formed as a separate corporation whose purpose is to develop and provide GIS products and services. The Company acquires City Map and begins development of a new version of the mapping product. The newly branded Think Map product is introduced. Think Map is designed to be economical and easy to use and address the needs of the 80% of Counties and Municipalities that were not then using GIS.

1998
WTH Engineering, Inc. adopts the use of a GIS product, called City Map, for use in conjunction with field inspections and other engineering services.

1967 - 1997
The Company is established as a civil engineering firm by Warren T. Hobson. The firm provides civil engineering services to County and Municipal Clients for 30 years. In 1997, the firm is purchased by Rex E. Jones and renamed WTH Engineering, Inc.
